Terms of Use
Effective Date: September 29, 2026
These Terms of Use ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the Dharma mobile application, website, booking platform, and related services (collectively, the 'Platform').
The Platform is operated by Dharma Holistic Guide, LLC ('Dharma,' 'we,' 'our,' or 'us').
By creating an account, accessing the Platform, or completing a booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. DHARMA IS A BOOKING MARKETPLACE
Dharma operates a technology, discovery, marketing, booking, and payment marketplace that allows users to discover and book services offered by independent wellness practitioners ('Healers' or 'Practitioners').
Dharma does not itself perform the sessions listed on the Platform.
Practitioners are independent providers and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Dharma merely because they are listed on or receive bookings through the Platform. The professional or service relationship created by a booking exists between the user and the Practitioner providing the booked service.
Dharma may facilitate discovery, booking, payments, customer support, refunds, Platform standards, reviews, promotions, and other marketplace functions without becoming the provider of the underlying session.
2. PRACTITIONER INDEPENDENCE
Practitioners are independently responsible for performing their services; determining whether a service is appropriate for a particular client; maintaining required professional qualifications, licenses, registrations, certifications, permits, and insurance; maintaining appropriate facilities and equipment; following health and safety requirements; obtaining informed consent where required; identifying contraindications; maintaining legally required records; and complying with professional standards and applicable law.
Dharma may establish marketplace standards, review Practitioner information, remove listings, administer payments, establish promotional offers, and investigate complaints. Those activities do not transfer a Practitioner's professional responsibilities to Dharma.
3. WELLNESS AND MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
Dharma itself does not provide medical advice, medical diagnosis, medical treatment, prescriptions, emergency healthcare, or other healthcare services.
Many services available through Dharma are intended as complementary wellness services. Such services are not represented by Dharma as substitutes for professional medical diagnosis, medically necessary treatment, prescription medication, emergency treatment, or other appropriate healthcare.
Some Practitioners listed through Dharma may separately hold professional healthcare licenses or other regulated credentials. Where a licensed Practitioner provides a regulated healthcare service, that Practitioner - not Dharma - is responsible for providing the service within the lawful scope of the Practitioner's professional authorization.
Information appearing on Dharma, including Practitioner profiles, service descriptions, reviews, educational content, wellness information, and promotional materials, should not be interpreted as medical advice from Dharma. Users should seek appropriate professional healthcare for medical concerns and should not disregard or delay necessary medical care because of information obtained through Dharma.
4. ACUPUNCTURE AND OTHER REGULATED SERVICES
Certain services listed through Dharma may be regulated under the laws where the service is performed. These may include acupuncture and other services involving regulated healthcare practices, medical devices, invasive procedures, or licensed professional activity.
The Practitioner performing such a service is solely responsible for maintaining the authorization required to perform it and for determining whether the service is appropriate for the user. Dharma's listing or verification of a Practitioner does not constitute medical endorsement, certification of treatment effectiveness, or a guarantee of professional outcomes.
5. FUNCTIONAL, INTEGRATIVE, HOMEOPATHIC AND COMPLEMENTARY SERVICES
Services described as functional, integrative, homeopathic, holistic, complementary, energy-based, or similar may vary substantially in their nature and level of scientific evidence. Dharma does not guarantee that any such service will diagnose, prevent, improve, treat, or cure any particular condition.
Practitioners are responsible for ensuring that representations they make concerning their services are lawful, accurate, and within their professional scope.
6. RED LIGHT THERAPY AND DEVICES
Where a session involves red light therapy or another wellness or healthcare-related device, the independent Practitioner is responsible for proper operation, maintenance, sanitation, client screening, contraindications, protective measures, and lawful use of the device.
Dharma does not manufacture or operate Practitioner equipment and does not guarantee the safety, effectiveness, regulatory status, or suitability of independently operated equipment.
7. NO GUARANTEED RESULTS
Experiences and outcomes from wellness, holistic, complementary, spiritual, or healthcare-related services vary between individuals. Dharma does not guarantee any particular physical, emotional, therapeutic, spiritual, medical, cosmetic, or other outcome from a Practitioner session.
Testimonials, ratings, reviews, descriptions, and Practitioner statements do not constitute guarantees of results.
8. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
Users must satisfy applicable legal age requirements to create an account and independently enter transactions through Dharma. You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account credentials.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise. You must notify Dharma promptly if you reasonably believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
9. BOOKINGS
The Platform allows users to view available services and request or complete bookings with independent Practitioners. Before completing a booking, users should review the Practitioner, service description, price, duration, location or delivery method, available times, cancellation and rescheduling policy, and any service-specific requirements displayed before purchase.
A confirmed booking creates an arrangement for the applicable Practitioner to provide the selected service subject to these Terms and the booking conditions disclosed during checkout.
10. CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Dharma allows users to manage eligible bookings through the Platform.
Most sessions allow rescheduling or cancellation within a flexible time window - check each healer's policy before booking.
Cancellation and rescheduling rules may differ by Practitioner or service. The applicable policy, including relevant deadlines, fees, refund eligibility, or credits, should be reviewed before completing the booking.
The policy disclosed for the applicable booking will ordinarily govern a user-requested cancellation or rescheduling. Where a Practitioner cancels a confirmed session and cannot provide the purchased service, the user will be offered an appropriate remedy, which may include rescheduling or a refund.
Nothing in this section limits cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be waived.
11. REFUNDS
Refund eligibility for user-requested cancellations ordinarily depends upon the cancellation/refund policy disclosed for the selected Practitioner or service when the booking is made.
Dharma may nevertheless provide a full or partial refund, credit, rebooking, or other appropriate remedy in circumstances involving Practitioner cancellation; failure to provide the purchased service; duplicate or erroneous charges; unauthorized transactions or fraud; serious service-quality concerns; material differences between the purchased and delivered service; serious safety or misconduct complaints; payment disputes or chargebacks; requirements imposed by payment processors; or circumstances where applicable law requires a refund or other remedy.
A decision by Dharma to provide a refund or other customer remedy does not mean that Dharma provided or assumed professional responsibility for the underlying service.
12. PRICES AND PAYMENTS
Prices displayed through Dharma are shown before purchase and may vary according to Practitioner, service, duration, promotion, location, or other disclosed factors. Dharma may facilitate payments through third-party payment processors, including Stripe.
By submitting payment information, you authorize the applicable payment processor and Dharma to process the transaction necessary to complete and administer your booking. Dharma may offer promotional pricing, discounts, credits, or first-booking promotions subject to conditions displayed with the applicable offer.
13. PRACTITIONER INFORMATION
Dharma may obtain information from Practitioners concerning their experience, qualifications, certifications, professional registrations, services, availability, and other relevant information. Dharma may review or request evidence supporting Practitioner information.
However, users remain responsible for deciding whether a particular Practitioner or service is appropriate for them. Verification procedures reduce marketplace risk but cannot guarantee that information will remain accurate indefinitely or that a Practitioner will perform a service without error.
14. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
Users are responsible for providing Practitioners with information reasonably necessary to determine whether a service is appropriate and safe. Where relevant, users should disclose conditions, medications, allergies, sensitivities, pregnancy, implanted devices, recent procedures, injuries, or other information requested by the Practitioner for appropriate screening.
Users should follow reasonable safety and preparation instructions associated with their selected service and should not participate when they know or reasonably believe doing so would create an inappropriate health or safety risk.
15. EMERGENCIES
Dharma is not an emergency service. The Platform should not be used to obtain emergency medical assistance. Users experiencing a medical emergency should contact the appropriate local emergency service or seek immediate professional medical care.
16. REVIEWS AND USER CONTENT
Users may be permitted to submit ratings, reviews, photographs, comments, feedback, or other content. Users agree not to submit content that is knowingly false or misleading, fraudulent, unlawfully discriminatory, threatening or harassing, defamatory, infringing upon another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights, unlawful, or unrelated to a genuine Platform experience.
Dharma may moderate or remove content when reasonably necessary to enforce Platform policies or applicable law. Submitting content grants Dharma a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, format, and distribute that content for operating and promoting the Platform, subject to applicable privacy law.
17. PROHIBITED USE
Users may not use Dharma for unlawful purposes; impersonate another person; submit fraudulent bookings; interfere with Platform security; attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems; introduce malicious software; scrape or systematically extract Platform information without authorization; harass Practitioners or other users; misuse Practitioner contact information; manipulate ratings or reviews; or materially interfere with another person's use of the Platform.
18. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Dharma and its licensors own the Platform's software, design, branding, logos, trademarks, original content, interfaces, and other protected materials except for content owned by Practitioners, users, or third parties.
Dharma grants users a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purposes. No ownership rights are transferred to users.
19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Dharma may rely upon or integrate third-party services, including payment processors, maps, communications infrastructure, analytics providers, hosting services, and other technology providers. Those services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. Dharma is not responsible for independent third-party systems beyond Dharma's obligations under applicable law.
20. PRACTITIONER DISPUTES AND COMPLAINTS
Users should promptly report significant service problems, safety concerns, misconduct, or booking disputes to Dharma. Dharma may investigate complaints and may communicate with the Practitioner, issue refunds or credits, suspend accounts, remove listings, or take other marketplace actions it considers reasonably appropriate.
Dharma's involvement in investigating or resolving a complaint does not make Dharma the provider of the underlying service or transfer the Practitioner's professional responsibilities to Dharma.
21. ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
Users acknowledge that wellness and professional services may involve risks that vary according to the nature of the service and the individual receiving it. Practitioners are responsible for explaining service-specific material risks and obtaining informed consent where required by applicable law or professional standards.
By voluntarily participating in a service, a user accepts the ordinary and disclosed risks inherent in that service to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms eliminates responsibilities or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
22. LIMITATION OF DHARMA'S LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dharma is not responsible for the independent professional acts or omissions of Practitioners. Dharma does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, suitability, effectiveness, availability, or outcome of any independently provided Practitioner service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dharma will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform or independently provided Practitioner services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
23. INDEMNIFICATION
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dharma Holistic Guide, LLC and its owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, affiliates, successors, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising directly from your unlawful use of the Platform; your material violation of these Terms; fraud or intentional misconduct committed through your account; or content you submit that unlawfully infringes another person's rights.
This provision does not require a user to indemnify Dharma for liability that applicable law prohibits Dharma from transferring to the user.
24. PRIVACY
Dharma's collection and use of personal information are governed by the Dharma Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference where permitted by applicable law.
Practitioners may separately collect information necessary to provide their services and may have independent professional or legal privacy obligations.
25. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Dharma may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of fraud, unlawful activity, serious misconduct, threats to safety, material violation of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, payment abuse, security concerns, or other conduct that creates material risk to users, Practitioners, Dharma, or the Platform.
Termination does not eliminate payment obligations, disputes, refunds, legal claims, or other rights and obligations that arose before termination.
26. CHANGES TO THE PLATFORM
Dharma may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue Platform features as the business develops. Where a change materially affects an existing paid booking, Dharma will address that booking in accordance with the applicable booking terms and applicable law.
27. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Dharma may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Platform, business operations, policies, or legal requirements. The current version will display its effective date. Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a material change, Dharma will provide such notice or obtain such consent.
28. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are intended to operate consistently with mandatory consumer-protection, privacy, healthcare, and other laws applicable where Dharma and its users operate.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Terms and disputes involving Dharma will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. However, services performed in Colombia and transactions with Colombian consumers remain subject to any mandatory provisions of Colombian law that cannot legally be waived.
Nothing in this provision deprives a consumer of mandatory rights or protections that cannot legally be waived in the jurisdiction applicable to that consumer or transaction.
29. SEVERABILITY
If a provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent legally permissible, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect unless applicable law requires otherwise.
30. NO WAIVER
Dharma's failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive its right to enforce that provision later.
31. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the booking conditions presented for the applicable service, and other Platform policies expressly incorporated into these Terms constitute the agreement governing use of Dharma.
